WORKING AT MEDSTAFF

Currently, Medstaff uses the following format for employee status. Medstaff does not employ independent contractors.

 

Full Time Permanent - Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Full benefit package or optional flex plan.

 

Part Time Permanent - Guaranteed hours agreed upon by the employee and the company.. Example: Employee agrees to work every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Company agrees to guarantee 8 hours each day, every week Benefit package for this type of employee is pro-rated based on the number of hours worked.

 

Per Diem ( Full or Part Time) -Work when you want as assignments become available. No guarantees by employee or the company. No extended benefits but a substantially higher pay rate.

 

Temporary - Employee agrees to work for a specified period of time only. Often used for summer relief. Also used by traveling technologists. Benefits are available.

 

On Call - On call employees are paid by eight hour shifts to be available on call. In addition, they are paid a per study rate for each study performed on call. This is a high pay position but requires advanced technical skills.
